About the 2011 Event

The 2011 Mayor Russ Meyer's Golf Scramble was a huge success. Nicholasville Mayor Russ Meyer continues to give his time and support for Hospice of the Bluegrass and we greatly appreciate all of his hard in making this a profitable event. August 26th was a beautiful day at Connemara Golf Course which began with breakfast provided by Gourmet Goodies and Donut Days. Lunch was prepared by Connemara and featured their famous Alltech Angus burgers and to top off the day, attendees were treated to yogurt donated by Menchies.

There was an astounding 34 teams competing with the Citizens Commerce team taking 1st place followed closely by the Kentucky Bank team in 2nd place. Our hole sponsors were overwhelming with 45 businesses and individuals donating for this event. We greatly appreciate their continued support!
